MOGYOROD, Hungary – Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull Racing dominated the opening pair of Formula One practice sessions Friday at the Hungaroring.
Vettel claimed the top spot in both practice sessions. He timed in at 1:22.723 in the opening session and backed it up in the second session with an improved time of 1:21.264.
Vettel’s Red Bull Racing teammate Mark Webber chased him in both practice sessions. Webber timed in at 1:22.982 in the opening session and followed it up with a time of 1:21.308 in the second session.
Kimi Räikkönen, Fernando Alonso and Romain Grosjean completed the top five in the first session. Grosjean, Alonso and Felipe Massa filled the top five in the second session.
