Todt Remains As FIA President

PARIS – Jean Todt continue in his roll as President of Formula One racing’s governing body, the FIA, for four more years after being re-elected at its annual General Assembly in Paris on Friday.

Frenchman Todt was unopposed in his bid for a second term, with sole rival David Ward having already withdrawn from the contest after failing to secure the necessary support for nomination.

Todt, who previously enjoyed a successful Formula One career in team management with Ferrari, was originally elected President in 2009, defeating Ari Vatanen to succeed Max Mosley.
