Huffman Lands Sponsor For Saturday Night Thunder

CLAREMONT, N.C. – Landon Huffman has added a new sponsor in Belly Up Sports to his No. 75 Total Advantage Motorsport Chevrolet for the eNASCAR Saturday Night Thunder event at Richmond Raceway.

Belly Up Sports originated in Toledo, Ohio and features a variety of sports-related podcasts and blogs. The brand’s unique name came from those who believed it would go “belly up” as opposed to being able to survive and thrive.

Those two qualities – surviving and thriving – are what Huffman hopes to do on Saturday night, when he battles a stacked field of NASCAR national series regulars in hopes of notching a victory at the virtual Richmond (Va.) Raceway.

“I’m very excited to introduce Belly Up Sports into the racing world,” said Huffman. “Albeit in virtual circumstances, this is a unique and cost-effective approach for business to explore NASCAR marketing.

“I’m also pretty confident in my speed at Richmond on the sim,” Huffman added. “The plan is to keep the Total Advantage Motorsport/Belly Up Sports Chevrolet up front and be in position to go for a strong finish at the end of the night.”

Of the paved short tracks on the real-life NASCAR national series schedule, Richmond is one of two (Iowa is the other) that Huffman has yet to compete on in real life.

His three NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series starts between Martinsville (Va.) Speedway and Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, however, did produce top-20 qualifying efforts – giving Huffman confidence his short-track skills can lead to success.

“It’s what I grew up doing and I think Richmond will be a lot of fun Saturday night,” Huffman noted. “I’m looking forward to putting on a show this weekend.”

The eNASCAR Saturday Night Thunder program will be broadcast on eNASCAR.com/live, beginning at 8 p.m. ET, and will feature a four-heat program and last chance qualifier before the 125-lap main event.
