Two Florida Strips Sign With VP Fuels

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Officials at Orlando Speed World Dragway and Stingray Dragway at Lakeland (formerly known as Lakeland Dragstrip) have each announced multi-year agreements naming VP Racing Fuels as their Official Fuel beginning in 2012.

Under the agreements, VP will be each track’s exclusive supplier of race fuels with VP110 and C12 available on site in bulk along with several of VP’s specialty fuels in pails and drums at both facilities.

In addition, each track will continue to use VP’s LC7 traction compound for track prep. Both tracks will be serviced by VP-Southeast, VP’s distribution center in Fort Lauderdale.

“Orlando Speed World Dragway and Stingray Dragway at Lakeland are both great motorsport facilities,” said Robert Rodgers VP’s Regional Manager-South, “and we are very happy to be selected over all others to fuel their tracks this year.”

The feeling is mutual for Ozzy Moya, the owner of Stingray Dragway at Lakeland.

“We’re pleased to bring VP on board as our Official Fuel given its well-deserved reputation for quality products and unsurpassed service,” Moya said. “Their race fuel blends are second to none and we’re confident our racers will appreciate having convenient access to them here at the track.”

“VP has long been known for technological innovation so we’re pleased to make their fuels available to our racers,” said Carl Weisinger, track operator of Orlando Speed World Dragway. “We’ve also achieved outstanding results prepping our track with VP’s Lane Choice 7 traction compound and SLR Starting Line Resin. Our racers deserve the best products at the best value and VP delivers both.”

“Orlando’s affiliation with the NHRA-sanctioned and divisional races make it a natural fit,” added Mark Klein, VP Racing Fuels. “We’ve enjoyed working with Carl in servicing his divisional races for years. We also appreciate Ozzy’s enthusiasm and dedication to the racing community, which dovetail perfectly with VP’s dedication to providing the very best products.”
