WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The International Hot Rod Ass’n has announced that the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular presented by Hagerty Insurance and Moser Engineering will return this season.
Ten races have been scheduled over six event weekends, with four double-event weekends included.
IHRA members racing in the Top (Box), Mod (No Box / Footbrake) and Junior Dragster classes have the opportunity to compete for the prestigious IHRA Ironman at each event as well as the coveted oversized championship checks.
IHRA members will also be in the running for limited-edition Sportsman Spectacular commemorative medals and round prizes from Sunoco Race Fuels, Moser Engineering and Summit Racing Equipment.
Each event is tailored to the host track’s racing program, which gives each one a unique feel.
“True to our focus of providing opportunities for the local sportsman racers, we are thrilled to welcome back Moser Engineering and Hagerty Insurance as the presenters of this very special program,” said IHRA Vice President Skooter Peaco. “It is great to get out and support what is happening on the weekly level at IHRA member tracks. We handed out a lot of hardware and prizes to IHRA members last season and the 2022 Sportsman Spectacular series is poised to be bigger based on the demand of our membership base and our member tracks.”
