CONCORD, N.C. — The nitro-fueled madness that is four-wide drag racing at zMAX Dragway has a new name Circle K has signed on as the entitlement sponsor of the April 29-May 1 Circle K Four-Wide Nationals.
“Whether it’s at Speed Street during our NASCAR event weekends or high-flying monster trucks at our Back-to-School Bash, we’ve seen Circle K’s passion for partnering on world-class motorsports events firsthand through the years,” said Greg Walter, executive vice president and general manager at Charlotte Motor Speedway. “The continuation of that partnership with the entitlement at our NHRA four-wide event is just a natural extension as we look to deliver another unforgettable, first-rate event for the fans.”
Fueling fan excitement for an action-packed weekend of fun is a new promotion for Circle K customers headed to the track. Any fan who brings a Polar Pop cup from Circle K to the gate will instantly save $7 on their race ticket purchase.
“We’re excited to jump into the world of NHRA drag racing, and what better venue than zMAX Dragway,” said Mark Ostoits, vice president of operations for Circle K Southeast. For many years, we’ve seen the brand exposure that events at Charlotte Motor Speedway deliver and we’re thrilled to expand our existing partnership with a best-in-class entertainment company like the speedway to continue to bring fun, entertainment options to our customers and our staff.”
