Pro Stock driver Camrie Caruso was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation following an on-track incident during the third round of qualifying at the NHRA Arizona Nationals.
The AquaProp-sponsored entry struck both walls after crossing the finish line.
Caruso was examined onsite by medical director Dr. Phillip Surface prior to seeking further medical attention.
Before the wreck occurred, the KB Titan Racing driver experienced her fair share of struggles during the opening two qualifying sessions. Her best run of the day was recorded during the second session — a 12.171-second pass at 79.92 mph.
Caruso is the defending Arizona Nationals winner in the Pro Stock category.
There is no further information available on her accident at this time.
