BENICIA, Calif. – Red Line Synthetic Oil, a leading supplier of synthetic lubricants and additives, is extending its longstanding sponsorship agreement with NHRA Top Fuel champion Steve Torrence and Torrence Racing.
Red Line Synthetic Oil has been the Torrence’s lubricant provider of choice since its inception in 2011.
Red Line Synthetic Oil was founded more than 40 years ago by racers who sought to create additives and lubricants designed for maximum performance. For this reason, Torrence Racing trusts Red Line’s 70WT Nitro Drag Race Oil in their engines, Heavy Shock Proof Gear Oil in rear end and blower drives and the company’s assembly lube as a bearing lubricant.
In 2011, Torrence piloted the CAPCO Contractors Dragster for the first time with Red Line Oil on board as an official sponsor. Since then, Torrence has secured two Top Fuel titles and 36 victories while working closely with Red Line’s technical team. Torrence’s affinity for the brand runs in the family. His father, Billy Torrence, also has used Red Line products on his way to secure five NHRA Top Fuel victories.

Torrence is scheduled to compete in all 24 NHRA National events, while Billy Torrence will run an abbreviated schedule with dates soon to be confirmed. Additional drag racing events, off-road races, street races and special appearances will be announced in the coming months.
