ELKIN, N.C. — With torrential rain hitting Ultimate Motorsports Park and the surrounding areas of Elkin, N.C. World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models and track officials have canceled Saturday’s racing program.
The decision was made with keeping the best interest of driver safety and traveling race fans in mind.
Nick Hoffman leads the World of Outlaws Late Models standings by four points over Brandon Sheppard leaving the Ultimate weekend.
The series turns it’s focus towards the June stretch of eight races in 10 days through the midwest, beginning with Thunderhill Raceway on Thursday, June 20.
