Rain Postpones Hoosier Dirt Shootout Finale

KOKOMO, Ind. – Early showers, a consistent drizzle and more rain on the way, along with track conditions, has forced track and World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series officials to postpone the Hoosier Dirt Shootout finale to Sunday afternoon at Indiana’s Kokomo Speedway.

One Last Chance Showdown and the $25,000-to-win, $1,500-to-start, 75-lap Hoosier Dirt Shootout feature is all that remains for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series.

In addition, the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals will also complete its program. The Summit Modifieds must complete Last Chance Showdowns prior to that tour’s feature.

Gates will open at noon, hot laps will start the on-track action at 2 p.m. Racing will resume with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series Last Chance Showdown, followed by the Summit Modifieds Last Chance Showdowns.
