WHEEL, Tenn. – Just after the first group of time trials had ended, Mother Nature arrived to spoil the World of Outlaws Late Model Series party at Duck River Raceway Park Friday night.

“It’s unfortunate for the fans and drivers who traveled so far to see the World of Outlaws stars,” said Series Director Tim Christman. “We hate it for track owner Bob (Harris) who had a record crowd tonight as well.”

The event will be made up on May 18, which now sets up a tripleheader weekend of action with 201 Speedway in Sitka, Ky., on May 16 then Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., May 17 before the series heads back to Duck River Raceway Park on May 18.

A complete new program will be run when the series returns on May 18.
