FAIRBURy, Ill. – The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series Prairie Dirt Classic will pay a whopping $50,000 to the winner in 2020.
The event, which will pay $2,000 to start, is scheduled for July 31-Aug. 1, 2020.
This announcement comes as new track owner Matt Curl reaches the midway point in his first season as track owner.
First run on Sept. 5, 1990, the Prairie Dirt Classic has become one of the most popular dirt late model raced in the country. This year’s event pulled in a star-studded, 72-car field, making it the most competitive event in its 30-year history.
