CONCORD, N.C. –Â Due to ongoing mass gathering restrictions, the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series event at Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, N.Y., scheduled for Sept. 25 has been canceled.
Taking place for Outlaw’s absence is Thunder Mountain Speedway, making it a doubleheader weekend at the Knox Dale, Pa., track on Sept. 25-26. Friday’s $10,000-to-win program at the three-eighths-mile venue is part of the fifth annual Eric Witherite Memorial, while Saturday’s second $10,000-to-win show honors the Stephanie Eckl Memorial.
The September doubleheader will mark the first appearance at Thunder Mountain Speedway for the World of Outlaws.
Marking the 103rd series event in the state of Pennsylvania, Thunder Mountain will become the 17th different track in the Keystone State to host a World of Outlaws Late Model race.
