BABERVILLE, Fla. — Heavy persistent rain, creating saturated grounds at Volusia Speedway Park has forced World of Outlaws, Super DIRTcar Series and track officials to cancel Friday night’s Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals.
The remaining program will not be made up. Now, the teams look towards Saturday’s Big Gator championship night for the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models and Super DIRTcar Series.
On Thursday night, Bobby Pierce earned the victory at Volusia, topping Brandon Overton in a thriller.
In Super DIRTcar, Mat Williamson reigned victorious Thursday night after starting third in the feature.
