FARMER CITY, Ill. — With heavy rain moving into Farmer City Wednesday night and continuing throughout the day on Thursday, Illini 100 practice night on Thursday has been canceled.
The decision comes after the World of Outlaws, Extreme Outlaw Midget Series and track officials consulted with Wayne Mahar of Precision Weather Service. With rain Wednesday and Thursday, but sunny weather Friday and Saturday, officials wanted to preserve the facility and track, so fans and drivers are given the best conditions for the Illini 100 weekend at Farmer City Raceway.
With this move, the focus now shifts to Friday and Saturday’s racing events, which will feature the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models, Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota and MARS Modifieds.
