CONCORD, N.C. — Daniel Adam will be a new face on the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model Series tour as he plans to run for the MD3 Rookie of the Year title next season.
The Peru, Ill., driver will make his full-time national tour debut next year driving the Adam Family Motorsports No. 75 late model.
“We did the MARS Series and the Hell Tour and that was fun,” Adam said. “We weren’t bad. We’ve got a whole year under our belt with this crew, so we should be pretty good next year. We’re starting to get the pieces together. Just switched to these Longhorn Chassis by Wesley Page. Went to his shock package. Hopefully we’ll have everything ready for Volusia and ready to rock.”
He’ll make the jump to a full-time national tour after spending a year with the Midwest Auto Racing Series, where he finished seventh in points with one win – at Tri-City Speedway.
Adam made his first World of Outlaws feature this year at Maquoketa Speedway in August. He had a solid showing, starting 16th and finishing 16th. And to help give his program another kick-start before the 2025 season, he’s also making his second World of Outlaws World Finals appearance this week.
His racing career started at 13 years old in Legends Cars, where he won four races in the division and the Pro Division North Carolina State Championship. From there he moved up to 602 Late Models and Limited Late Models, finishing sixth in his first race in the division.
In addition to his six national tour starts in 2024 – one with the World of Outlaws and five with the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Models – Adam also made 12 starts with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Late Models this year. He had nine top-15 finishes and four top 10s in those 12 starts. He earned a best finish of sixth with the Series at Paducah Int’l Raceway.
“We did the MARS and Hell Tour to step up and get the crew ready and the equipment ready to run with the Outlaws because that’s the top series,” Adam said. “That’s who you want to compete with. If you can compete with them, you can go and compete with anyone anywhere.”
