MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Ricky Weiss powered to victory in Friday’s Southern All Star Dirt Car Series main event at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
Weiss took the lead from Ashton Winger on the 11th circuit and led the remainder of the 40-lap distance to take home the $5,000 victory.
Chris Madden started seventh and navigated his way to second, but he had nothing for Weiss and had to settle for the runner-up spot. Winger finished third after leading early.
Jimmy Owens and Brandon Overton completed the top-five.
Johnny Bridges won the companion USCS presented by K&N Filters Outlaw Thunder Tour feature.
