VP Racing Fuels Inks Deal With NeSmith Racing

CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – NeSmith/Durrence Layne Chevrolet Racing has entered into a five-year agreement with VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants to be the official racing fuel and lubricant of all six of the sanctioning bodies’ racing divisions, including two touring divisions and four weekly racing series divisions.

VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants will be the official racing fuel and lubricant for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division, the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series, the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Late Model Division, the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division, the NeSmith Chevrolet Late Model Sportsman Division, and the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Modified Sportsman Division.

In addition to its role as the official racing fuel and lubricant, VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants will also sponsor the VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants Young Guns Challenge Series for NeSmith/Durrence Layne Chevrolet Racing Late Model drivers 18 years of age and younger. These eligible drivers will compete for a separate point fund during the 2018 racing season.

NeSmith/Durrence Layne Chevrolet Founder and CEO Mike Vaughn and VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants Sales Representative Tommy Chapman have known each other and worked together through their respective careers in racing for many years, and both men are delighted to be reunited through this five-year agreement.

“This is a great series to be involved with because they can help us with VP products, and we can help this series continue to grow,” Chapman said. “We have great products and a lot of competitors in this series have been winning with our products, which is something we know we can now work together for the betterment of us both.”

“We’re looking forward to having VP Racing Fuels as a marketing partner for five years, and even beyond that,” Vaughn said. “We’re America’s Leader In Racing and VP is America’s Leader in Racing Fuel, so it’s a natural that we’re working together. We’re both very promotionally-minded companies. Sponsorships don’t mean anything unless you have partnerships, and that’s what we’ll have with VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants.”

Vaughn went on to say that he was really excited to have Chapman serving the NeSmith/Durrence Layne Chevrolet Racing family of racing Divisions on behalf of VP Racing Fuels and Lubricants.

“When the VP Racing Fuels headquarters in Texas were talking to me about putting this deal together, I asked that Tommy Chapman serve our series on their behalf,” Vaughn said. “Tommy really helped put this deal together, and I know that Tommy will get down in the trenches with me and help make this deal a success for everyone.”
