Utter Milks Nebraska MLRA Foes

GREENWOOD, Neb. — Jason Utter passed Chris Simpson at the checkered flag to win the Midwest Tri-Fecta MLRA late-model race Friday night at I-80 Speedway.

Utter went from ninth to first in his heat to pick up the pole for the feature. Utter would take the green flag from the pole, but fall to second early.

Simpson led nearly the entire 30-lap feature before getting caught in lapped traffic. When the white flag waved, Utter took advantage of the traffic slowing Simpson, catching him in turn four. Utter would cross the finish line just a nose in front of Simpson.

Chad Simpson was third ahead of Travis Dickes and Kyle Berck.
