PONTOON BEACH, Ill. — Saturated grounds, coupled with over an inch of rain on Wednesday morning at the Tri-City Speedway has forced track and series officials to cancel this weekends Lucas Oil MLRA Winter Meltdown.
Track promotors Kevin and Tammy Gundaker, along with the Tri-City Speedway staff felt it best to make what was a clear decision early enough in the week so fans and race teams could make alternative plans.
There are no plans for a make-up date for the early spring event, but the MLRA will return to the three-eighths-mile oval on October 13-14 for the Annual MLRA Championship Weekend.
