ELLISVILLE, Fla. — Tim McCreadie romped from 10th on the grid to win Friday night’s opener for the Florida Dirt Nationals at All-Tech Raceway.
McCreadie banked $25,000 for winning the 40-lap XR Super Series late model event.
McCreadie passed fast-qualifier Brandon Overton for the lead on lap 28 and led the remainder of the distance.
The event was the lead-in to Saturday’s $50,000-to-win main event and attracted a star-studded 38-car field.
Kyle Strickler came home second, with Kyle Bronson, Overton and Jonathan Davenport rounding out the top five.
