Stovall Unstoppable At Springfield


SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Jesse Stovall returned to victory lane for the second time this season at the Springfield Raceway on Thursday, winning the MARS DIRTcar Series Summer Perry Memorial.

The race was worth $3,000 and was Stovall’s 14th career MARS win.

Current MARS point leader Tony Jackson Jr. would lead the first 10 laps of the 40 lap race before Stovall would pass him in lapped traffic. Jackson would hold to finish second. Polesitter, Brandon McCormick would finish in third.

Eric Turner and Justin Wells rounded out the top five.
