WEBSTER CITY, Iowa — Chad Simpson blasted from 15th starting spot to win the Bill Rice Memorial dirt late model race Saturday night at Hamilton County Speedway.
Simpson earned $4,000 for winning the Malvern Bank East Series event after taking the lead from Jason Hahne on lap 18 and leading the remainder of the 35-lap event.
Jake Neal finished second, with Hahne, Tad Pospisil and Chad Holladay completing the top five.
