SYLVANIA, Ga. — Ross Bailes claimed the victory as the Southern All Star Racing Series opened its 40th season Saturday at Screven Motor Speedway.
Bailes charged from third to the lead on the 12th lap and led the remainder of the 50-lap feature to earn the $10,000 top prize.
Pearson Lee Williams finished second, with Rusty Schlenk, Payton Freeman and Colton Burdette rounding out the top five.
John Henderson was the fast qualifier for the 23-car field.
