Rain Stops Summer Nationals

NEW RICHMOND, Wis. — Heavy rain forced DIRTcar Summer Nationals and Cedar Lake Speedway officials to cancel Saturday night’s event. The series returns to action on Sunday, June 16, at Wilmot (Wis.) Raceway.

The top two finishers in Summer Nationals points at the end of the tour on July 20 will be guaranteed spots in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series event on Thursday, Aug. 1, at Cedar Lake.

In the championship battle, Brandon Sheppard is leading the way after events on Wednesday at Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway and Friday at Cedar Lake.
