Pierce Rolls To Another $15,000 Score

FARLEY, Iowa — It doesn’t matter the track or the racing series, Bobby Pierce just keeps winning.

The Illinois late model driver picked up his 31st victory of the season in Friday night’s preliminary feature for the Yankee Dirt Track Classic at 300 Raceway.

The event was run under the XR Super Series banner and paid Pierce $15,000.

Pierce started seventh and grabbed the lead from Ryan Gustin on lap 30. He led the final 11 laps for the victory, beating Gustin to the finish by 1.179 seconds.

Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Bruening and Brian Shirley completed the top five.
