SPENCER, Iowa — Bobby Pierce kept rolling Sunday night at Clay County Fair Speedway.
Pierce claimed $15,000 for winning the 40-lap XR Super Series late model event to earn his eighth victory in his past eight late model starts.
Pierce took the lead from Hudson O’Neal on a lap-34 restart and cruised home from there.
O’Neal was second, with Devin Moran, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Mike Marlar completing the top five.
Marlar was the fast qualifier for the 18-car field with a lap of 15.404 seconds.
