Pierce Does It Again For $30,000

PENNSBORO, W. Va. — Bobby Pierce keeps finding new ways to win dirt late model features.

Pierce earned his 37th win of the season in Saturday night’s Mason-Dixon 100 at Pennsboro Speedway despite a flat tire early in the race.

Pierce started on the pole and led six laps before suffering a flat right-rear tire on his No. 32 late model. He was not to be denied, starting at the back on the restart. Pierce rallied through the field and passed Devin Moran for the lead on lap 36.

He led the remainder of the 50-lap race to earn $30,000 for his sixth XR Super Series triumph of the season and his 37th overall victory.
