GREENWOOD, La. — Bobby Pierce took advantage of Cade Dillard’s misfortune to win Saturday night’s Ronny Adams Memorial dirt late model race at Boothill Speedway.
Dillard led the first 35 laps of the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series event but hooked a rut in turn one and flipped his mount on lap 36.
Pierce inherited the lead and led the final five laps to bank the $10,000 top prize.
Kyle Beard finished second, with B.J. Robinson, Spencer Hughes and Ashton Winger rounding out the top five.
Dillard was the fast qualifier for the 31-car field with a lap of 13.850 seconds.
