Owens Earns $10,052 Sexton Memorial Check

SEYMOUR, Tenn. – Jimmy Owens earned a $10,052 payday for his victory in Monday’s Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series Scott Sexton Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway.

Owens tracked down and passed race-long leader Brandon Overton on the 34th circuit and led the rest of the distance to pick up the victory.

Overton crossed the finish line second, more than a second behind Owens. Ricky Weiss was third, followed by Hudson O’Neal and Kyle Stickler.

Dale McDowell finished sixth, which was enough for him to clinch the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series championship.
