MARYVILLE, Tenn. – For the third consecutive year, Billy Ogle Jr. will be the primary driver for Blount Motorsports in 2013, running a full dirt-late-model schedule while Tommy Kerr continues to run a limited schedule for the team.
“2012 was a good year for Blount Motorsports with both Billy (Ogle) and Tommy (Kerr) doing an excellent job. We are pleased to have them both back in 2013,” said team owner Larry Garner. “With Billy and Tommy doing the driving and David Bryant and B.J. Hillman taking care of the cars we feel good about 2013.”
With the BMS team coming on strong in the closing months of the 2012 season and being intact for 2013 everyone is optimistic about the up coming season.
“I am really pleased to be going into my third year driving for Blount Motorsports,” said Ogle. “Even though we got off to a slow start again in 2012 the team really came together and we finished strong. With everyone that was involved coming back for 2013 we should have a really great year.”
Blount Motorsports will start the season at the Talladega (Ala.) Short Track during the Ice Bowl on Jan. 5-6.
