SWEETWATER, Tenn. — Dale McDowell led all 40 laps to win Tuesday night’s Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals dirt late model feature at I-75 Raceway.
It was McDowell’s second consecutive victory in the series and his 15th overall victory on the tour.
McDowell earned $7,553 after beating Donald McIntosh to the checkered flag by 3.386 seconds.
Cory Hedgecock, Gavin Cowan and Austin Smith completed the top five.
McDowell was the fast qualifier for the 29-car field with a lap of 13.478 seconds.
