McCreadie Stars In Cotton Pickin’ Opener

COLUMBUS, Miss. – Tim McCreadie banked $4,000 for winning Friday’s Cotton Pickin’ 100 preliminary feature at Magnolia Motor Speedway.

McCreadie took the lead from Billy Moyer Jr. midway through the 30-lap feature and proceeded to drive away and lead the remainder of the distance at the three-eighths-mile dirt oval.

He finished more than five seconds ahead of Moyer, who settled for second.

Mike Marlar was third, followed by Chris Madden and Spencer Hughes.

Racing continues Saturday at Magnolia Motor Speedway with the 70-lap Cotton Pickin’ finale that pays $12,000 to the winner.
