GREENWOOD, La. — Logan Martin romped from 13th starting spot to win Friday night’s season opener for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series at Boothill Speedway.
But the victory was not without controversy as Martin and race leader Neil Baggett got together on the final lap with Martin driving to his 11th series victory and Baggett taking the checkered flag in 11th position.
Hunter Rasdon finished second, with Rick Rickman, Garrett Alberson and B.J. Robinson rounding out the top five.
Alberson was fast qualifier for the 41-car late model field.
