BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – Scott James chased down Mike Marlar and then drove to victory in Saturday’s American Ethanol Late Model Tour feature at Brownstown Speedway.
Marlar took the lead from Devin Gilpin on the 23rd circuit, but James was hot on his heels. On the 28th lap James overtook Marlar and began pulling away, eventually taking the checkered flag at the end of the 40-lap feature more than two seconds clear of the field.
Marlar settled for a distance second. Gilpin, Kent Robinson and Bobby Pierce completed the top-five.
