SOMERSET, Ky. – Officials at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., have announced a $1,500 bounty on Michael Page heading into the 31st annual Ice Bowl on Jan. 6-8.
Page has scored five straight victories in the super late model portion of the prestigious Ice Bowl event dating back to 2017. The $1,500 will be paid to any competitor that can defeat Page as long as Page finishes the event and is on the lead lap at the conclusion of the feature.
On-track activities for the 31st annual Ice Bowl will begin on Jan. 6 and will feature an open practice that will take place from Noon until 6 p.m. On Jan. 7 practice, qualifying, and heat races for all divisions in competition will take place. The weekend will conclude on Jan. 8 with B-Mains and Ice Bowl feature events for all divisions in competition. In case of inclement weather, Jan. 9 has been reserved as a rain-date if needed.
The super late model portion of the 31st annual Ice Bowl will be officiated by the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Series/CT Promotions and will be contested under their series rules and regulations. The super late models will time trial and heat race on Jan. 7 with B-Mains and the 50-lap, $6,000-to-win/$500-to-start 31st annual Ice Bowl main event on Jan. 8.
Other divisions in action at the 31st annual Ice Bowl will include Crate Racin’ USA Late Model 604 Crates, TST Sportsman/Limited Late Models, Crate Racin’ USA Street Stocks, Crate Racin’ USA Late Model Sportsman 602, Factory Stocks/Pure Stocks and Hot Shots/Buzz Jonathan “Mr. NASCAR” Merritt Memorial.
