Hedgecock Hunts The Front For $10,000

SWEETWATER, Tenn. — Cory Hedgecock earned his first Hunt The Front Super Dirt Series late model victory on night one of Championship Weekend Friday at I-75 Raceway.

Hedgecock regained the lead when Brandon Overton suffered a flat tire with 10 laps remaining and paced the remainder of the distance to collect the $10,000 top prize.

Stormy Scott finished second, with Dale McDowell, Kaede Loudy and Ashton Winger completing the top five.

Hedgecock was the fast qualifier for the 29-car field with a lap of 13.288 seconds.
