WICHITA, Kan — Expressing into fresh areas of racing within a Sunflower State swing for another night of intense on-track action, 81 Speedway would welcome the Revival Dirt Late Model Series presented by Start2Finish TV to witness Kylan Garner claiming his second feature series victory in the thrilling 25-lap feature action.
Starting the competitive night with 20 entries for the series would see Dusty Leonard clinch the quick-time in qualifying with a lap of 15.905 seconds with Brandon Conkwright and Scott Cimfl each earning heat racing qualifier victories as Kylan Garner attained the high-point qualifier award through a dash win.
Flying into feature green flag racing would find polesitter Garner out-duel Andy Bryant out of the first pair of corners as Garner would shoot to the preferred position with the field calculating for spots behind the leader.
Holding steady out front through mid-race cautions would find Garner extending a secure lead throughout the feature event with Bryant attempting to keep pace with Jacob Magee clinging to an extremely high line up front throughout the feature.
“Track was really good for all the rain we got, we were just getting with it tonight,” said Garner in the 81 Speedway victory lane.
Garner would outrun second-starter and runner-up placement Leonard to capture the feature win. Speedy Delbert Smith would clinch third as Jacob Magee finished fourth with Jeremy Petty rounding out the top-five finishers.
