BRASSTOWN, N.C. — Officials with the Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels have boosted the Labor Day Weekend with the addition of an event on Aug. 31.
On Aug. 31 the tour will make a stop at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tenn., racing 40 laps for $5,000-to-win and $450-to-start to open the doubleheader Labor Day Weekend.
Then on Sept. 1, the tour will visit Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tenn., racing 44 laps during the 11th annual Buddy Rogers Memorial, paying $5,044-to-win and $450-to-start. The Tazewell event will be co-sanctioned with the Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Late Model Series.
The Schaeffer’s Oil Fall Nationals Series presented by Sunoco Race Fuels will open on Friday, Aug. 16 at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tenn., racing for $4,000-to-win, and will be followed by an event on Saturday, Aug. 17 at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga., where competitors will race for $10,000-to-win.
