ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. – Rain has postponed the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series races scheduled for Friday at Camden (Tenn.) Speedway and Saturday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Ala.
Series and track officials are working towards rescheduling both races later this season.
After losing ten events last season to Mother Nature, the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series has seen each of the first four races of this season stopped by weather.
With so many series in so many divisions, finding a date that works for everyone involved is becoming more difficult. Series officials said it is their intention to schedule two-race weekends to make travel more convenient for the race teams.
The next two races on the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series schedule is April 26-27 for NASCAR weekend at the Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala.
