Brandon Overton Has $70,000 Night

SWEETWATER, Tenn. — It was a big-money night for Brandon Overton Saturday at I-75 Raceway.

Overton earned $20,000 for winning the season finale for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series and added another $50,000 by claiming the series championship.

Overton started Saturday’s 50-lap event from fifth spot and grabbed the lead from polesitter Dale McDowell on a lap-17 restart.

Overton led the final 34 laps and beat McDowell to the finish by .920 seconds.

Mike Marlar, Cory Hedgecock and Kaede Loudy completed the top five.

McDowell was the fast qualifier for the 32-car field with a lap of 14.070 seconds.
