EASTABOGA, Ala. — Brandon Overton started on the pole and led all but one lap in winning Saturday night’s Bama Bash super late model race at the Talladega Short Track.
Overton earned $15,000 for winning the Hunt the Front Dirt Series race that was broadcast by SPEED SPORT affiliate huntthefront.tv.
Overton led the first lap and Cory Putnam paced the second tour of the quarter-mile dirt track before Overton took control and led the final 48 circuits.
Cory Hedgecock drove from ninth to finish second, with Ferguson, Josh Putnam and Michael Page completing the top five.
