LANCASTER, S.C. – Ross Bailes took home $5,000 for his victory in Friday’s Ultimate Southeast Series late model event held at Lancaster Speedway.
Bailes survived a caution-filled affair, with only 11 drivers finishing the 40-lap feature of the 25 that started the race.
Bailes had to survive a one-lap dash to the finish after Zack Mitchell slowed with one lap left. He was able to hold of Daulton Wilson in the one-lap dash to collect the checkered flag.
Dennis Franklin finished third, followed by Cla Knight and Benji Hicks.
