DAVENPORT, Iowa – Persistent cold and wet weather conditions have resulted in cancellation of Friday’s Rebel 5K Deery Brothers Summer Series event at Davenport Speedway.
Opening night for the 33rd annual IMCA Late Model tour moves to Saturday, April 13 at Maquoketa Speedway, with night two of what is now a weekend doubleheader on Sunday, April 14 at Dubuque Speedway.
Both main events pay $2,500 to win and a minimum of $300 to start. Maquoketa hosts the inaugural Hershel Roberts/Ray Guss Sr. Memorial on Saturday.
Other sanctioned divisions running both nights are the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks and Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods.
