ELLISVILLE, Fla. — It was a landmark night for Jonathan Davenport.
Davenport won the Sunshine 50 at All-Tech Raceway, collecting $40,000 and securing the inaugural XR Super Series championship.
The victory pushed Davenport past $2 million in earnings for the season.
Taking the lead on lap 45, Davenport led the final six laps , holding off Brandon Overton for the triumph.
Joseph Joiner, Kyle Bronson and Mark Whitener rounded out the top five.
Whitener was the fast qualifier for the 28-car field.
