ROSSBURG, Ohio — Garrett Alberson led all 30 laps to win Sunday night’s Earl Baltes Classic and claim his first Eldora Speedway late model victory.
The kickoff to World 100 week at the legendary half-mile was sanctioned by the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series and paid Alberson $5,000.
Carson Ferguson finished second, with Jonathan Davenport, Ricky Thornton Jr. and Gregg Satterlee completing the top five.
Alberson was the fast qualifier for the 65-car field with a 15.583-second lap.
Jonathan Taylor raced from fifth to win the 20-lap UMP modified feature, while Craig Dippman topped the stock car main event.
