$10,000-To-Win Biggie For Tenn. National

SOMERSET, Ky. — The STARS Volunteer Racing Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts along with the Tennessee National Raceway have made a schedule change, which will bring a $10,000-to-win late-model race to the third-mile dirt track.

The series had an already scheduled $6,000-to-win event for Oct. 1, but due to many large races in the area on that date, an agreement between the track and series now moves the event to Oct. 28-29 at TN National and will now pay $10,000-to-win/$700-to-start for the STARS VRS Late Models.

This event will be the Shannon Hickerson Memorial event at Tennessee National Raceway, located in Hohenwald, Tenn.

“We are very pleased that John (Mosier) has asked us to be part of this event,” stated STARS VRS President Chris Tilley. “We are looking forward to working with him and his crew for a great ending to an exciting second season schedule for VRS.”
