Under this program the series point leader will receive an additional $200 added to their winner circle/appearance money they receive at each venue. The Keyser Manufacturing Point Leader Challenge will also include a Keyser Manufacturing points category for drivers that lead the series championship point standings at each event.
The driver that holds the series point lead and displays the unique day-glow orange spoiler at the most events during the season will earn a $2,500 cash award and a $2,500 product award at the series year-end awards banquet. This special banquet award will be presented by Keyser Manufacturing representatives and a chance to recognize the driver that wins this first year program.
“Keyser Manufacturing. is excited to extend our partnership with LOLMDS. A program like this has never been implemented in dirt late model racing and this series was the perfect fit. This unique challenge will provide the competitors an opportunity to distinguish themselves from the rest of the field. We couldn’t think of a better way to add extra incentive for the drivers, as well as give the fans something to keep their eyes on throughout the race,” said Anna Walker, Marketing Coordinator, Keyser Manufacturing.
“We are very excited about this new program and what Keyser Manufacturing has put together. The added bonus money for the point leader at each event plus the cash and product awards for the year-end banquet builds solid strength into our overall program. We look forward to working with Keyser Manufacturing again this year, as they certainly continue to expand their involvement with the LOLMDS drivers and teams,” said Ritchie Lewis, Series Director.
