Rain Stops Topless 100

LOCUST GROVE, Ark. — The COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services will be held on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 18 at Batesville Motor Speedway after rain washed out the B-Mains and the $40,000-to-win main event on Saturday night.

Track crews tried valiantly to run in the three-eighths-mile track and pits after rain hit the area earlier this afternoon, but officials were inevitably forced to postpone the event to Sunday.

The gates will open at 10 a.m. on Sunday for the COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services, the drivers’ meeting will be held at 12 p.m., and racing will begin at 1 p.m. For more information, visit www.batesvillemotorspeedway.net.
