PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — With the strong chances for rain forecasted at race time, Portsmouth Raceway Park and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials have canceled Friday night’s Independence 50.
The event will not be rescheduled. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series returns to Portsmouth Raceway Park, Saturday, August 31, for the River Days Rumble.
Saturday’s Freedom 60 at Muskingum County Speedway is still on as scheduled.
